    i love shellac! But unfortunately I broke 2 nails this week (slammed in desk drawer- stupid duh!) so i will probably get acrylics for the wedding...

    omg, I have a friend who is playing professional basketball in Bulgaria right now and she's asking me about wedding planning. She says to me "Well at least you have a man haha. I'm surrounded by sketch bulgarians over here!"

    just made me laugh.

    That's really cool!  I went to college with girls who ended up playing in the WNBA, but it was a big basketball school and I wasn't friends with any of them.

    Chick Flick might have to be Ever After. Drew Barrymore is terrible at putting on an english accent, but I still love that movie.

    Hmmmm....not sure I have one over all. But today it would have to be the wedding cake gelato from a little restaurant down the street from where I work. It satiates my want of ice cream and frosting all in one go.

    singing makes me miss driving back and forth from college. That two hours in the car every friday and sunday was the best singing time. I could belt as loud as I wanted and no one was around to care.

    Good times.

    People don't like it when you sing in your (open) cubicle. I figured that one out myself.

    What is the worst class you ever took in college and why?

    Subject matter was awful?
    prof was terrible?


    Mine would have to be intro to eastern philosophy.
    Teacher was Chinese and had not been speaking english long. As if the concept wasn't hard enough to grasp already.

    that would be super tough... mine was business technical writing.  It was taught by an adjunct professor (who had only even been in academia).  she honesty wanted us to print our resume's on colored paper (not off white, like pink) with colored fonts and borders... grrr

    Can I just say that I am currently hating my FMIL...

    okay, hate is a strong word, but she stresses FI out and then he's short with me because he can't be mean to his mom. I get that she's had a rough year, but she needs to snap the hell out of it. She's putting more stress on her son than she realizes and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

    I am trying my hardest to not gripe to FI about his mother so much because I know that he doesn't see in her the same crap that everyone else sees, but when it comes to him getting pissy with me because he's mad at his mom just makes me unbelievably mad.

    He can't bear to get mad at a woman who flat out told me that she didn't think her son could get his GPA up enough to graduate from school. I won't tell him she said that because I think it would just totally break his confidence, but the fact that the woman has no faith in her own kids really pisses me off.
