    Genesis 2:4-8; 18-25 (Because it demonstrates that one of God's primary purpose in designing marriage was companionship.)

    Ephesians 5:21-32 (Because vv. 22-32 explain how we submit to one another in Christ and it demonstrates how marriage is a picture of Christ's relationship to the Church.)
