These two local sales helped me save money for showers, gifts, and general wedding supplies I purchased so wanted to let people know that in June you can save some big money:
H20 Plus Warehouse Sale (845 W. Madison, Chicago) - women start lining up at 5am for this sale - it is INSANE but I was able to get good quality soaps for my OOT hotel bags (.50 each!) and other salts, scrubs, lotions for dirt cheap prices. they also have baskets, containers and basket supplies (straw, filler) for mega cheap.
They have not made an official announcement about the date but according to "Every Block" they have submitted a license application for
June 12, 2010 (Saturday).

I did not realize but Wilton manufactures stuff for Martha Stewart Crafts in addition to baking goods (cupcake stands) and other scrapbooking/craft supplies.
The tent sale starts
June 4 and goes through June 22 - parking is also challenging so go early and be prepared for crowds and LONG waits at the cash register.
