Specialty Drink Name?

We're having Bride's Sangria and Groom's Sweet Tea - but I don't want to call it Sweet Tea in case some kids think it's non-alcoholic.  FI doesn't like Tea-ni since it sounds girly.  Would Spiked Sweet Tea sound good?

Re: Specialty Drink Name?

  • Sounds good to me!
  • What are you spiking the tea with? What are the grooms hobbies? If he enjoys golf maybe teaoff. Or something fun like mad hatter tea. Or if you spiking with vodka maybe vea tea! If you are having a modern theme wedding maybe mod tea time. Just a couple ideas! Good luck!!!
  • Thanks, good ideas, but not quite us!

My FI is a Marine and a lawyer - he'll be in military uniform for most of the wedding.  He hates golf, and is not from the South - he just really likes sweet tea.  It will be a sweet tea vodka mixed with sweet tea and springs of fresh mint.

  • I think spiked sweet iced tea is fine! We are doing iced sweet tea with peach vodka so I put on the sign : Spiked Peach Sweet Iced Tea. I'm no very creative when it comes to that stuff though!
