FI and I are wanting to do a handfasting for our wedding. For those of you out there who did one or are going to do one...where did you find your cord(s)? Did you make your own with ribbons you bought or did you buy a pre-made one? I looked on Etsy and online at other places but they aren't really singing to me if you know what I mean. We are doing one that uses all of our attendants and the officiant (so it would be ten cords) with each person laying a color across our hands one at a time so they can't be pre-braided. So what did you all do or are you going to do?
