2nd line umbrellas

Trying to figure out if we need more than 2 2nd line umbrellas-one for me and one for FI. I know most guests will have handkerchiefs, right? Any reason to make more than 2?
Just curious- anyone making/made their own 2nd line umbrellas? TIA!

Usually just the bride and groom have umbrellas. I made my own and they came out pretty nice. I bought the umbrellas from Accent Annex for about $4 a piece, one black on white. Then I went to http://www.sequinappliques.com/ and got all my patches from this site. Also at the base of each umblrella I put ribbon that has beads hanging down that you can get at almost any craft store. I have been so busy and stressed with work and wedding that I bought ours off of Etsy! They were $35/piece and she hand sews everything on so that it stays on...HTH!
