Inexpensive Reception/Venue in FORT WAYNE for winter wedding

My fiance and I are just starting to plan our wedding and are thinking Jan-Feb 2014. Anyone know of any relatively inexpensive venues for a reception? We have talked about golf courses - since they sit unused for those months. Any ideas??

    Congrats! I am also a FW bride!

    We are using YOLO. I have found them to be good price, esp if you use them on any day other than Sat!

    Don't forget about places near Fort Wayne as well! A friend had her reception in New Haven! Also, you can rent out rooms at IPFW, such as the Walb Ballroom and more! The university allows whoever you want to cater and are much cheaper than a lot of places we've looked at!
