Changing dresses.....

Is anybody planning on changing dresses between the ceremony and reception?

I thought about it, but I figured it was a waste of my money. I'm spending $800 - $900 on a dress that I will only wear once so I will wear that think all day until I can't wear it anymore.

Nah...I love my dress so I'm going to wear it the whole time as well. I entertained the thought for a split second, but none of the dresses I looked at wowed me so I figured it would be a waste.

I couldn't choose between two dresses, so I got both. I wore the first one for the ceremony, our first dance, and dinner. Then I went and changed into the other for the table meet & greet, the father daughter dance, cake cutting, and dancing.

I felt like I got good use out of both dresses, and I'd recommend you do it if you'd like. I didn't feel like I didn't "get my money's worth" or anything like that....

I'm changing dresses. My wedding dress is very tight fitting and I want to be able to party and dance. I'm changing after all the tradition wedding stuff like the first dance, parents dance, cake cutting, dinner, etc. Once the party actually starts then I'll slip away and change.

I'm wearing two dresses.  I love my first dress, but it's really big and poofy on the bottom and I truly won't be able to dance in it.  I saw reviews of my dress online from brides who wore it at their recent weddings and they all said it got really hot and heavy during the night.  So I found a dress for $28 on clearance from Dillards that is sexier and will allow me to dance all night long if I choose.  Can't wait to wear both!

I just have a getaway outfit
I don't want to have to worry about wearing my dress back to the hotel or getting ruined by FI

I am changing during the reception after all of the formalities.. (cake cutting, first dance, etc.) because we all plan to go out afterwards anyway.  Just haven't figured out where we're going....OK, something else to put on my to-do list! Darn!!

I'm not changing either. I love my dress too much and as a pp stated I only get to wear this dress one time. I'm going to keep it on all night long.

Definitely this ! We even hopped in the limo and went out to the club after the wedding, with our friends and family until 6am. And yes, I still had on the dress. <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

I plan on changing! However, the reception dress I want is $525 {or something} so hopefully I can find one that's closer to the price of Cincy's 2nd dress! lol

I wanted to change dresses as well...but since I'm having it made I've decided to forego any extra expense and have an aline dress with a wraparound train  giving me both a traditional dress and train and a party dress...now I just have to figure out a stunning way to remove the train...
