Tipping

What is customary to tip vendors at the wedding? The Deacon, DJ, etc. How much did you all tip?

    I find there is a wide range of answers to this question.  You need to do what you are comfortable with.

    Personally, we tipped our DJ (I think $50) only I think.  We did get the pastor who did our ceremony a gift card (in addition to a donation to the church for his services) as a thank you.  There was a gratuity built into the charge for our food and drink so we didn't have to worry about that.  If we had hired transportation (a limo or party bus) I probably would have tipped the driver of that.
