NC Bride wanting to book a HM in Pigeon Forge

Hello ladies! FI and I are looking to go to Pigeon Forge for our honeymoon and I wanted to see if you all had any recommendations on where to stay, what to do, etc. I've been looking at websites online but I just don't know which ones are good and which ones are not, so if ya'll could recommend anything, that would be great!!!!

Really depends what kind of honeymoon you are looking for. there are secluded spots and kitchy busy spots. Cabin? Hotel? Price range? Point me in the direction you are headed, and i'll offer up advice. :)

I can also do a drive-by to check out a place for you.

We are looking into a cabin and we're trying to keep it under $1000 if possible.

We've rented a cabin through http://firesidechalets.com and were very pleased. They have tons of different size cabins with different amenities, so you can find just what you want.

As for places to go, things to do:
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is great
The Tanger Outlets and the main strip in Gatlinburg are always fun, if you like shopping
Dollywood is also fun, especially if you have never been
If you like arts and crafts, the art circle is a neat way to spend a day

If you like sushi/asian food, there is a new place called Little Tokyo that is fabulous!

There's plenty to do and everything is pretty easy to find and get to, so don't worry about having everything planned out beforehand.
