a waxing question

Have any of you had your arms (forearms, not underarms) waxed? What's the story?  Any advice?  I'm thinking about giving it a try.  I'm on the darker side and I want my henna to show up well!

Never had it waxed (too painful!), but I do shave mine. Contrary to popular belief, at least in my case, it has grown back thinner, shorter and softer! Strange, but true. I only have to do it about every 4 mo's. I would totally recommend it. Easy, cheap, and not at all painful.

I have waxed my arms-it isn;t too painful.  If you are going to do it-I would suggest going to a desi salon where they use natural ingredients-so there is less room for irritation.  If your wedding is on a Satruday, then I would get it done Tuesday or Wednesday; but it also depnds on how fast your hair grows.  About a week prior, I would exfoliate every day.

I have my full arms waxed regularly.  It's not painful.  It stings just a little bit but the pain passes quickly.

I wax all the time and it is what is suggested. It isn't painful, sure it will sting a bit...I would honestly tell you to wax over anything else.
