I am new to the board and am getting married in Hawaii but live in Dallas. I just picked up my invitations and absolutely love them! In searching for our wedding invites, I knew I didn't want something traditional since we were doing a beach destination wedding but couldn't find anything I loved on the web or in the traditional stationary shops. I met a local artist, Brandi Solomon, at the Deep Ellum Outdoor Market a couple of months ago and fell in love with one of her paintings for which she also had matching stationary. Upon asking, she agreed to work with me to design custom invitations for our wedding. I chose the "Hula Girl" print which appears on the front of the invitation, the RSVP card and fold of both envelopes. She also printed addresses and return addresses on the envelopes.
