Can anyone advise me as to what the average price for a videographer is?

Can you recommend any in Houston? I dont want it to look like my uncle videoed it but I also dont need a lot of fancy stuff either--middle of the road.

    do you have a budget?  some of my favorites are..

    Rusty Bryce- he has nice prices and it's an "inbetween" IMO
    T2 productions- 3k+ very nice work
    A&A productions- 3k+ very nice work
    Grasshopper Productions- 2k+ nice work
    The Wedding Theatre ( located in austin I believe)- 2k+ very nice work

    I recommend Perry Evan Films.  They start at $1K and go up, depending on what you want.

    I would check out C. Baron Photography. They are starting to do some cinematic videos.

    I am a diy bride... I dont have a thousand in my budget to have a videographer... I dont know if you have heard of Kirk McGee Photography... check them out :) Good luck! :)

    C Baron added cinematic video to our photography package for $1000, which made it easier not to book 2 seperate vendors.

    Grasshopper has a package that is 2300 and has everything! 2 videographers. look them up, they have some examples on their website. They are nice and creative. Good luck

    also maybe checkout JChristopher films. he is located in Dallas, I heard of him from the Dallas board and he is supposedly somewhat new to weddings, but he has several examples on his site and he is actually reallllllly good & his prices are amazing!

    A&A|nico is about 1500-2000 for video if you book this summer.
