  you can also get mini candy bars and get personalized purple wrappers on them.
  
  i know you didnt ask, but just a suggestion: for the jars, id decorate them with various purple bows some big, some light, some big and some skinner

  Oriental Trading Company (orientaltrading.com) have purple swirl lollipops!  I wanted to do a lollipop centrepiece, and got all the info to do it ... only to be vetoed by my fiance.
  
  But, at least I can help you!  The lollis are $9.99 for 24, each one being a 2" diameter sucker.
  
  Another idea is purple bubble gum, and I agree with one of the PP, and suggest the rock candy!
