Non Church ceremony venues--Milwaukee area

What are some good venues to consider for a non church ceremony in the Milwaukee area?  We would prefer to stay away from the city, but are open to all suggestions. Reception will be at a hotel, but have no clue where to start looking for ceremony sites.  In the super pre planning stage, but the sooner the ideas, the better!  Thanks!!

Maybe check with your hotel.  Most hotels have an area you can do the ceremony.  I know of a few people have had their ceremony at the Hyatt in Milwaukee, but if you are already having the reception at a hotel, it would probably make more sense to do it at your hotel.

It doesn't much matter, as we haven't picked anything else yet; I just don't know of many venues outside of the downtown area.

Try the area parks.  Milwaukee County Parks and Waukesha parks both have websites that will give you some great ideas.

The Botanical Gardens is very nice. O'donnel park but that is Downtown.

Hmm... Have you decided Indoor or outdoor? What season?

Silver Spring Golf Club in Menomonee Falls has a covered rooftop balcony that works great for a ceremony/reception.  It overlooks the valley and is very pretty.  We had our wedding there last year and it went quite smoothly.
