  I'm not sure - I know I don't want to spend too too much but since I'm not really sure what I want (style and all that), I don't really know what to expect. I do know gowns can get very expensive and I do not want something that's a few thousand! Ideally, under a $1,000 (or less if possible) would be great!

  Hilary's Bridal in Plymouth, MA. A little bit of a trek from Metrowest but great selection, fabulous prices and a super friendly/helpful staff. I just ordered my dress from them on Saturday and it was under 1K.

  I went to La Sposa Bridal in Newton and they were great.

  
  
  DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
  5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
  3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
  IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
  IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

  Not to scare you, but I have heard horror stories about David's Bridal.  They even have a really bad rating from the Better Business Bureau.  If you can avoid it, I would recommend it.

  If you're going to the AA & DB in Dedham, might as well stop at Manhattan Bridal as well. I bought my dress there (~$800). I can't say they're the greatest ever, but they were nice enough, and fairly helpful.
