negotiating with a band

I want to hire a band that my brother had at his wedding. I know they play great music and I actually recommended them to 4 other couples who all used them. How do i ask for a discount? I am so not a negotiating type.... any suggestions?

    If you're really tryin to get a discount, I'd just shoot from the hip and ask if there's any discounts for referring them out to four other couples?
