Snarky Brides

Anybody want a peanut?

Today is the 25th anniversary of the Princess Bride.  I've loved that movie since I was a kid and I'm looking forward to watching it when I get home tonight.

Any other fans?

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. • Bahaha.  In 1987, I was ...well... 7.  I didn't see until I was about ten.  Go watch it, kd.  Cary Elwes is so dreamy and Robin Wright Penn (Jen-AYE) is so young!

  • I love it so much we used music from it for the wedding.  It was also the first movie H & I watched together.  Random trivia - Mark Knopfler from Dire Straits wrote the score for the movie.

  • I love this movie. I haven't seen it in ages
  • I've never seen Labyrinth.  David Bowie creeps me the hell out.

  • Princess Bride is awesome and probably one of my top favorite movies.  I was about 8 when it came out but I think it took a couple years as well to see it.

Labyrinth is also another favorite.  I haven't seen that in forever!

  • B, you might be the only other person outside of my family that I "know" that has seen The Night The Lights Went Out...

  • I have too.  I was a major cinema-phile for a while.

I had a b&W movie thing for a while too.  Old Piper Laurie films all done up in Technicolor..  I love them.

Small LDS town B - my family was one of the few that would have been allowed to watch that movie in the early 80's.

And now I want to rent The Last Unicorn and Gremlins.

    And hi B!

I can't believe Princess Bride is the thing that brought me back to TK.

Girlie, we're obviously not long lost sisters if you can't dig Bowie.

Our friend who did our ceremony threatened to start out with Mawidge is what bwings us togethew. Instead he just asked for the "wings" and made us all chuckle.
