Affordable but classy Detroit Metro venue

We'd prefer to have the ceremony and reception in one place but will do different locations if we find a venue we love. 

Our budget is $40.00 per person (including bar). 50-75 people-- Good food and elegance important. 

So far we've only looked into Crystal Gardens but it seems like everyone has their wedding there. lol!  Suggestions?

    </div><div>Yeah, Crystal Gardens is the wedding reception factory LOL!! But, have you tried The Community House in Birmingham?  I'm having my ceremony and reception there.  There is a venue rental fee though and the price depends on the day of the week you have it (of course). They have about 5 different preferred caterers that they use for you to choose from that will probably fit your budget.  We are using 2 Unique Caters as our caters. We are spending roughly $50-$60 per person including open bar (but that includes catering add-ons and what not).  The pictures on their website does not do the venue any justice.  I'd recommend going in person for a tour.  It's way more elegant and pretty than the pictures on their website.  Hope this helps!</div>

    What area are you looking at or just anywhere in the relative metro-detroit area?  Does your $40pp price include just the space and food or are you hoping for other things as well?
