Hello ladies,

My wedding is in August and it is about time to start scheduling appointments for alterations. Any recommendations in the San Jose/south bay area?

    I am using a woman named Janis (her business name is December's Child) and she was recommended by my bridal shop.  She is in Fremont although the bridal shop is in Pleasanton.  She has been great!  We did major changes to my dress and she is so patient and listens well.  She is a bit of a flower child but trust me she knows good fit and regardless of her style yours will be flawless!  Her website for her handcrafted goods is www.decemberschild.com but you can email her through there about alterations.

    I've heard good things about Si Arima (out of Santa Clara), but I can't speak for her personally. Check her out on yelp. HTH
