  I thought I was going to go the half up/half down route, but after a hair trial with that style, I decided it wasn't for me. I am so glad I had the up-do esp with the heat and humidity and all.

  half up usually sounds like a good idea but tends to look ratty after a couple of hours. up-do all the way!

  I kind of think this depends on the style of  the dress, wedding, and the personality of the bride.  I don't think there is a cut and dried "right" hairstyle.

  I'm aiming for half up but I will have to a) see what it looks like, b) will it last the whole day and c) what the weather will be like at the end of June- if it's hot, my hair will drive me nuts!

  I'm wearing mine up, mostly because I'm going to be wearing a bolero jacket for the ceremony and I don't want my hair to compete with it.  Also, my hair is long and straight and won't hold a style unless all of it is pinned up.

  I haven't ever had my hair done before - not even for Formals/Proms etc. I figure this is probably my last shot at having an occasion to get my hair professionaly done up so I might as well go all out. The style I'll probably go for will be very classic, just a simple bun or twist.. nothing too crazy, but definitely all the way up.

  I get really hot and stressed when I'm getting ready for a big event, so I definitely want my hair to be off my neck during this big event!  I'll be going for a classic french twist.
