Rehearsal Dinner Invitation Wording

My fiance had a falling out with his family, and as a result they will not be hosting our rehearsal dinner. My family and I have found a location and the rehearsal dinner will be hosted by them/my fiance and I.  What wording should we use on the inviations? Specifically the "RSVP to". Does it look tacky if a bride/her family are hosting the r-dinner?

I don't think so. I have attended a few RD where the bride and groom hosted. As long as guests are hosted well I don't think it matters who does it. (in the case of a RD)

I don't think it will look tacky at all. The tradition of who pays for what has really changed and if is very common for someone other than the groom's parents to pay.
