Entering Suite for Guests

This may seem like a silly question, but how exactly did you have your guests enter the suite? I mean, was the door propped? Did you have someone answering the knocks? I know someone mentioned that they had a sign on the door... Any ideas? Our wedding is Saturday!! :)

You could use that latch that's on the door to keep the door cracked so someone doesn't have to keep opening it.  Leaving it all the way open may be too loud for the other people that are staying on the floor and they may call security due to noise.

Duct tape over the receiving side of the door lock (on the frame) will work too, and let the door fully close if noise is an issue; then a sticky note 'push to open'. :-)

We had a DOC and she handled receiving our guests.  Not sure if she just stood by the door or not.  I have a feeling most of my guests arrived all at once too.

Most suites don't have the swinging security lock thingy, but you may want to consider getting a door stopper from the dollar store to keep the door cracked, not fully open.  You don't want passersby all up in your suite.

We acutally had two attempted crashers at Mix during our reception. :-)  Fortunately the Mix staff is so attentive that over the few hours prior to opening the lounge to the public (where they snuck in from), the servers got a general feel for everyone that was there.  These two were making their way towards our guest book table and one of the servers stopped them and escorted them out.

Ummmmm, HELL no.  I haven't even started packing!!!  I'm so tired from work travel and some emotional family drama that I'm about to pass out.  It doesn't help that I'm a total procrastinator.  It should be very interesting to see what I actually pack and what I forget.  Ha!

@Cloud9- I'm as ready as I can be!
I pack horribly- as in I bring 50 dresses, 45 pairs of shoes, and whatever else looks appealing. Luckily, we are driving...so I just throw stuff in the trunk. I am so that girl in the hotel parking lot at 7PM looking through my trunk. This is my plan for Vegas, as usual. I do have my dress and accessories packed and ready for the wedding so I feel ready!
BTW- have you talked to Travis? Any idea how to confirm with him?
