Military Brides

Having a military wedding and need help

I am in the military, but all the traditions seem to focus on the husband being in the military... Has anyone found anything on traditions when the bride is in the service... all the articles I have found welcome the bride to the branch thru marriage.... we want to do the military wedding but not sure how to approch it since he is not military
 
Any help would be appreciated

    I don't know of any traditions but, I do know they have wedding toppers that have bride in uniform instead of the male.

    You can do all the same stuff to welcome him, IMO. Depending on your branch and rank, you can do the swords/sabres the same, etc.

    Also, having your last names as your SN is probably not a good idea in terms of PERSEC.

    I don't know your branch of service but I once saw an Army wedding where both were members of the service.  The bride's mother made the wedding dress out of ACU digital patterned material (flower girl too).  It was a great way to incorporate her pride of service into the wedding.
