Outdoor wedding in February

I am from Milwaukee, WI and my soon to be sister inlaw suggested a wedding in her back yard. Most of the family members will be in LA February 17-20. We have decided to have the wedding February 18, 2012. Do you think this is a bad idea for the time of year?

    Well the bad news is that February is the peak rain season. The good news is that "peak" means 3-4 inches that month. I say rent a tent just in case. You should always have a back up plan.

    It's hit and miss in February. But I think your chances are good. And if it does rain, not only is it suppose to be good luck, but also the spontaneousness of it all will be fun! 

    Since you're an out of towner, don't hesitate to ask for referrals. The ladies on here are so wonderful!
