We are looking for a venue to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception for 225 guests. We live in the Atlanta area but are open to areas one hour in any direction. We want a place that has nice landscaping, lake or some sort of water feature would be ideal! I also want to do a lot of the decorations myself to cut down on costs, so a venue that allows outside catering! If it's a really nice venue and the food is GREAT, then I'd go with a package deal if the price was right! If it's just a venue, any suggestions about caterers would be really helpful! Our budget is under $18K, but if I could pull it off for 1/2 that, I'd be MUCH HAPPIER!
