Engagement Photo Timeline?

How far in advance did you schedule your engagement pictures?

    You can really take them whenever you want. We took ours about 4 months before our wedding. 

    Just make sure if you plan on using them for you STD or invitations or anything pre-wedding you take them enough in advance so that your photographer has enough time to get the pics to you before you order/print your STDs or invites.

    We're hoping to do ours in March (7 months out) so we'll be sure to have them when we get ready to send out the Save the Dates (6 months out according to the Knot book) and so we can have them for the wedding website I intend to get set up in the next month or two.  It's really up to you and when/how you intend to use them.
