Nwr need a little help

A few weeks ago I borrowed mil's chi to straighten my hair and I absolutely love it. Normally the expensive hair stuff doesn't work on me but my hair felt soft and silky. I've been thinking of treating myself to a chi but there 99.99 le sigh I get a discount but it would still cost me over 70 plus taxes. Fi says I should do it but the idea of spending that much irks me. My current iron is conair and works well but I don't have the soft silky feel that the chi leaves.

So ladies ... Help do you think it's worth the 70 and tax????

Yes. It's absolutely worth it. My natural hair is very curly. Chi definitely gives me the straight sleek, soft hair look.

I've never used one of those, but I've never heard anything but good things about them.  I say get it if you love the way your hair feels.  I'm sure you'll get enough use out of it to get your money's worth.

Omg! I alway try to justify how I'm spending my money especially when it's a big purchase so I depreciate the value over a term depending on actual estimated usage. I'm soo nerdy but if this means I don't need buy a new iron for couple yrs and it I can do more than straighten my hair as the web site says it could be worth it. Ll

I LOVE my chi straightener. I think it's worth the investment. The same thing happened to me - I had a regular cheap straightener, and then borrowed a friend's chi and fell in love. Got it as a Christmas gift from my parents, so that was nice too!

I say go for it - you will get your moneys worth out of it quickly. They are so nice.

I don't have one, but I have heard so many good things about it (from many people). Having a good hair straightener is definitely worth it.

Yay! I say it's worth the money, and it's not like you buy hair straighteners all the time :-P

Totally worth it, FI bought me a chi last year and it is amazing.

I will never go back to anything else :) We bought mine from Best Buy and it was a little cheaper. I know it seems odd to buy it there but check it out if you have one of those near you.

Worth it....I am not a big spender, but I bought an Amika straightener which is pretty expensive, and I have no regrets. I don't think I could go back to the regular cheap kind I used to use. Sometimes you just need to treat yourself :)
