Looking for a professional DJ: Who do you recommend?

I live in Placerville, CA. It's right off HW 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe. And I am having the most difficult time finding a trustworthy DJ. Most of the ones I have interviewed seemed great, until we started talking about reserving a date. They seem to forget my wedding date, even though I have seen them write it down numerous times, or they promise me something and then they turn me away. I don't get it. Any recommendations? Or any DJ's that you trust?

    Dh and I were married in Folsom 3 years ago.  We used Blaine Davis. He goes by the sundance kid. He was fabulous!! Kept things on schedule as well as kept the party going! He was very willing to work within our budget and did a fabulous job.  He does all events for UC Davis and is very reliable.  I highly recommend him!
