Chicago Wedding Planners?

Hello all,

I'm just starting to plan my "destination wedding", which will be in Chicago. I grew up in Chicago, but have been gone for 20+ years, so not only will we be planning the wedding remotely, I have no idea where to begin with regards to ceremony venues, reception venues, etc.

Have any of you used a wedding planner that you've been really impressed with?

Hi Lisa,

I used Shannon Gail and LOVED her! I met with a few before booking her and would be happy to share info! marianne bride at yahoo dot com but she was amazing and definitely what I feel was our best money spent! I ended up booking all of the vendors she suggested and they were amazing too and I think my wedding had some of the coolest ideas in it that I never would have come up with

Did you find your planner yet? What about Red Letter Event Planning (www.redlettereventplanning.com) ? I have been to a wedding they have done... it was really beautiful. I am looking into them too... I am part time living in the Chicago area and part time in TN so I am going to need all the help I can get

I didn't have a planner but I always see amanda from ladi events as well as missy from honey bee weddings listed on here. hope this helps!
