Bah, I give up. Need help updating siggy!

I haven't updated my sig since before the changeover last year to the new Knot. I want to keep my ticker, but change my pic. I don't need to change the size (I saved it small in photobucket), just can't figure out the right code to make it update - I keep getting an error page every time I try to save it with updated html code (from photobucket).

This code stuff makes me crazier than wedding planning!

Are you converting the photobucket code for your pic into a tinyurl? I had to do that after the changeover.

I think I need *really* basic directions. Like, exactly what should the code read? Or where can I go to figure this out? All the directions I read assume you know something about what they're talking about and they aren't very helpful.

p.s. I just tried making the photobucket code tinyurl and inserting that with this code -

Hmmmm...I just did this recently and had trouble too! This the code that worked for my signature.

Strange! When I copied my signature code and pasted it, that last " / " was not there! But once I posted it, it turned up. Maybe try it without that " / " Hopefully that works! Good luck!

Alyson recommended awhile back that you completely delete your siggy, save it, and then start over (save your html in a word doc, etc).

Okay, so the knot is being really stupid with codes in siggys. My understanding is that some of them have been corrupted. The only way I could update mine was to remove all of the old code and the plug it back in manually. I also had to double check that my tinyurls were still working. Like Machan, I can't post the code here anymore... it's adding extra spaces and backslashes, so I'll PM it to you!

Thanks you guys! I copied and pasted the codes Alyson sent to me into Notepad, then put in the links that I needed there, then pasted it from there into TK, and it worked!

I needed to go with a summer pic for Oz.
