  I don't know if they go this far, but try Virginia Bakery in Berkeley. They were amazing and probably 1/2 the price as all of the other bakeries I tried.
  
  Also, depending on what your ideas are, Safeway also does wedding cakes and they deliver.

  She lives in Campbell and is just getting her business license this year but she is a fondant genius and her prices are very reasonable. She made cakes for 2 of my friend's baby showers and they were so gorgeous I had to meet with her to talk about designing my wedding cake. She has been one of my favorite vendors to work with!
