Live Wedding Painter

Has anyone here booked or had a live wedding painter at their wedding? For those who haven't seen this, a painter comes and sits on the sidelines and paints a still from the ceremony or reception. I saw this done and thought it looked beautiful!

    I saw this at a bridal show.  It's a neat idea - only when the artist actually has talent.  I saw the "finished" product at the end of the show and was quite underwhelmed.  The artist  wasn't very good.

    I'd rather spend that money on a canvas enlargement.

    At least she's honest about it. *shrug* I know it's against the rules, and she should be reported, but better to admit to being a shill than to (badly) pretend to be a bride. I wonder if this is the same painter who posted about her business at least 20 times over a weekend last year. That was annoying.
