1920s Vintage Menu

I'm having a Jazz Age themed wedding. Before I selected this theme I wanted to have Pappas Barbeque cater my event. Now I feel conflicted. Would it be too out of place or informal? Should I go with traditional twenties party food? (And if so, what should the menu consist of?)

    have more fun with the food.  find a caterer, explain the theme and let them come up with ideas.  you can add a lot to the food with the signage and the way it's displayed too. i'm not sure if you can see our signage below (picture is small) but we just did a 20's wedding this summer.  some of our foods were deviled eggs, waldorf salad, and iced tea for the sober and gin gimlets for the drunks.
