Father/Daughter dance

this is my one and only wedding my Dad passed away not to long ago Father/Daughter how does it work? do i have one? if so who do i dance with?

    You don't have to have a F/D dance if you don't want to. If you have someone else you are close to and want to share a dance with (like an uncle or brother, etc), you could do a dance with them or just skip it altogether.

    Just skip it. You don't have to do things just because they're traditional or expected. My dad is alive and well and walked me down the aisle, but we didn't have a F/D dance. The only special events H and I had was our first dance. Nothing else.

    You don't have to do the dance if you don't want to.  You could dedicate a song to your father if that is something you wanna do.  I'm sure you could speak with the dj and he could do a dedication for you
