Brides - I would love your input!

Hi all -

I'm a photographer and wondering what is most important to you when you are looking at a website to find your wedding photographer.  What type of information do you want to see?  Does it bother you that a person would do other kinds of photography, or do you view that as a plus?  Any information or feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!   Sarah Hunt

I wouldn't necessarily consider it a negative if you did other photography. i would just think a seperate "Wedding" category would be preferable so if you go on a wesite to see wedding pics, that is what you see.
Also, Variety is important. Of course artists do have a certain style, though different types of shots, scenery & scenarios are nice to see.
And most important to me... a very straight forward easy to use website.
Nothing too over the top fancy, just professional and straight forward.
    Hope this helps.

    I like to see:

--a professional looking website (not just a blog)
--credentials stated, including professional training and years as a wedding photographer
--some idea of the price range for wedding photography, like an example package or a starting price
--a full wedding album for one wedding, not just the best photos from many weddings
--clear description of the products offered, like the types of albums
