Invites Assembled!! PIP

This weekend my mom and bridesmaids helped me assemble my invites! I had a brilliant idea in mind and a drafted invitation, but when my mom saw them, she said "absolutely not. You are not sending those out."   I was, at first, appalled.  But, I listened to her reasoning and ultimately agreed with her. (I had wanted to do invites with curtains on them for my theme - which is difficult to make look professional)
So, we spent the next 3 hours going through four different designs.  The one we decided on is shown below:





All finished and ready to mail out!!

    Those look great!  I really like the way you incorporated the green ribbon.  I am curious on what the original and other three designs looked like though.

    I like your orginal idea a lot, but i understand your mom's concern.  Im sure you can incorporate the curtains somewhere else in the wedding.. that's great that you had so much help with the invitations, im sure you guys knocked them out in no time.

    That is a really cute idea, just way too hard to execute DIY imo.  The green font was a little off too.  Your actual invites are perfect!
