Photographer Help

I need some help with finding a photographer. I don't really know anyone and while I've gotten a few names from friends of friends and whatnot, I was hoping for some input on here. We're getting married in Foxboro, MA so anyone around that area or willing to travel there is who I am looking for! Thanks :)

    Highly recommend who we used, Scott Metzger.  There's a post a couple down of someone who just used him that has a link to her slideshow.  I have links to our slideshow and album proof as well as a review in my bio (link in siggy, under Vendor Reviews).  He was a pleasure to work with, and he's very talented.  You should definitely check him out.

    Is there a budget you'd like to stay within? This will help the other girls give suggestions since prices vary a lot in the Boston area for photogs.

    if you posted a budget im sure the girls can guide you in a better direction

    we used john loconte from www.johnlophoto.com and i cannot recommend him enough, he was the greatest thing about our wedding along with the venue and is truly amazing at what he does. definitely worth checking out as his prices are still very fair since my wedding

    We used Leah Haydock and we LOVED her!  Her photos are amazing and she is such a nice person, a real pleasure to work with!  I can't recommend her highly enough!  Check out her blog to see some examples of her amazing work.  She's really talented and I feel like her pictures really capture the emotion of the day:

    She is a higher priced photographer though, so she might not be in your price range.  She's out of NH but definitely travels all over MA.  I have a full review of her in my bio.

    We used Berry Photos as well and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my photos.  He did such a great job and the price is very reasonable for all that you get with it.  I would recommend him over and over again.

    I'm not really sure what our budget is because I just don't know enough about photographers and what they charge. I've seen everything from $1500-$5000 and really don't know what is the "right" amount. I would like to stay close to $2,000 simply because it seems like a lot to spend $4,000+.

    I'll take a look at those websites and any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    There's no "right" amount. :)  You should spend the amount you feel comfortable with. $2000 is a reasonable amount and you should definitely have several choices for photographers.

    Kate at k. Photographie did our RD photos and her work was wonderful. I would recommend her.
