JOPs in the Atlanta area

Hi everyone,

My fiance and I are looking for a JOP to come perform our ceremony at the Emory Conference Center.  We don't want anyone who is religiously ordained or affiliated in any way, and finding someone is turning out to be way more difficult than I thought it would be.  Maybe I'm just searching wrong, but I'm having the hardest time finding non-religious officiants in the area.  If any of you have any names you can share I would very much appreciate it!

Thanks!

  • lots of JOP may be affiliated but you can ask them to do a non religious ceremony

Yeah, and if we absolutely have to that's the route we'll go as we have found quite a few of those.  But just for personal reasons, I would really very much prefer to have someone not even affiliated in any way if at all possible.  I know it may be a stretch, but I want to make sure to cover my bases in looking.
  • Fulton County lists judges who are willing to do weddings outside of office hours.  They are not, as judges, affiliated with any religion as far as their duties, which includes marriages.  The link to the list is here:

Probably if you check other probate courts of surrounding counties you might find similar lists.  Good luck!
