Heads Up for August 2013 Brides

Pittsburgh just announced that there is going to be a Rock and Roll haf marathon in the city the weekend of August 4, 2013. The race could attract 8,000 people, and hotel rooms will likely sell out. If there are any August 2013 brides out there, it might be a good idea to contact hotels for room blocks now.

EDITED: Whoops, I just edited my post to say August 4, 2013. Hope I didn't alarm any August 2012 brides!

    Thanks Britt! I am an August 2012 bride (not the 4th, thankfully!) but this info would have been really helpful to me last year when I was deciding on a date!

    Thanks for the heads up!  I currently have my venues booked for the tenth but was going to look into moving the wedding to third. I guess that won't be happening now.
