Chair Rentals

We are getting married on the beach, in October.  We have a small-ish (50 people) guest list, and probably a pretty short (20 + min ceremony).  Originally, we were just going to have people stand, but have been to, and seen a couple of weddings where people are standing, and some where people are seated.  We wanted to change things up, and have everyone seated.

I have 2 questions.
1: Do you know of any vendors who might rent AND setup/tear down chairs?

2: Are this kind of set up allowed on the beach?  (Specifically Brewster) I figure the chairs would be set up for a max of an hour and a half.

I asked these questions of my wedding planner, on the Cape and haven't heard back yet, so I figured I would try here.
Thanks!

I used American Tent and they set up and took down chairs. i think Undercover Tent also sets up/takes down - these two were about the same cost, too, but the delivery charges may be different depending on what part of the cape they're going to.

sorry, don't know about the beach thing.

Bayside Tent in Sandwich will do it> They charge an additional $60 to pick up from beach.

I also used American Tent for our chair rental.  They came and set them up and took them down after the wedding.

I would definitely check with the town of Brewster before you sign a contract with a rental company because I know some towns do not allow any chair set up on a beach, and it would stink to lose your deposit if you signed first and then found out about that kind of restriction.  I'm not sure if Brewster is a town like that, but I know when I was looking into a beach ceremony there were definitely sites that would not allow any chairs.

I got quotes from all the companies mentioned above (American Tent, Bayside, and Undercover) and the price quotes were all within $50 of each other.  We ended up using American Tent - they were very professional.

Thanks for all of your help.  I have already requested a quote from American, and they are "unable to complete my request"  and I am waiting to hear back from Undercover Rental.  We'll be up at the Cape next week and will be able to talk to people at the Town Hall about the chairs.  I really hope we can make this work! :-)

Let me get this straight, you planned a wedding not knowing how to accomodate your guests and their comfort? This is sad.

Let me get this straight... you came here to critique my wedding, that I have put a lot of thought and effort into?  I was asking for recommendations, not to be criticized.

There has been a lot of discussions and back and forths on the chair issues, and this is the best we have come up with.

For everyone else in this post who have been helpful, I have finally heard back from my WP (her email address hadn't been working for a month).  She is going to let us use the chairs at the reception site and hopefully have them taken care of.
