Offbeat Dessert Vendor Recommendations

Hi ladies,
I'm looking to do something a little different for our late night dessert buffet and I was wondering if any of you had any local recommendations?

I would like to do either gourmet popsicles or paletas, or gourmet donuts.

We are getting married at Langdon Hall in July and I think one of these would be a fun twist.

I already tried Dough by Rachelle but she was booked and Glory Hole Donuts said they weren't sure as they are trying to open a store right now.

Any recommendations for either item would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
P.

Tiny Tom's?  There's a link for special event catering on their website:

I don't know if they're classified as "gourmet," but they're probably the most delicious thing I've ever eaten haha

One post down there was a link to lollipops that were on a Wagjag sale I believe.

<div>Yeah, I looked at TT, but even their smallest order (120 dozen) seems way too big for our wedding.  We're doing a 5 course meal before the late night dessert, plus canapes, cheese and charcuterie, and only have 50 guests.  Plus, I wasn't too keen that the smaller orders are just reheated in a toaster, not fried onsite.</div><div>

  • A friend recommended Sweet Flour Bake Shop for our wedding, but unfortunately our venue didn't allow outside vendors. Apparently she went to a wedding where they had a "make your own ice cream cookie sandwich" bar.

  • You should check with your caterer, perhaps they can do it?  Or they can recommend someone who can.
  • just check to see if Langdon hall would allow outside food vendors-since they are a very high end hotel they may not.

I would definitely check with your caterer.  We weren't allowed any outside food.  We wanted late night BBQ so they ordered in special hot dogs, sausages, etc. and we had a BBQ outside.  If you want the food prepared fresh then that is the way to go.

Perhaps they could put a fryer outside and do funnel cakes and/or freshly fried donuts?

  • Truffles does a lot of cool little sweet bites and can make it match your wedding theme.

Also have you tried Sweet Sushi - rice krispie treats made to look like sushi?
