Vendor Reviews Hi! Here are my reviews of my wedding! Levan’s Catering- B+. I give them a B for a few reasons. The first one is because during the planning process, I had a meeting scheduled for a Sunday morning with Duane, well someone from his office called me about an hour before the meeting to let me know that he wouldn’t make it, That annoyed me because I had already left my house. Another reason is because after I went back to get all my center pieces and decorations after the wedding, there was a ton of stuff missing and a lot of the glass jars and vases were broken. BUT the food was DELICIOUS! Everyone loved it! They packed all the leftover food and cake up for us to take home with us. The service at the wedding was great; they all looked nice and were friendly. I would use them again, they really did have great prices compared to all the other caterers I checked out.
http://www.levans.com/ Lake Mary Events Center- A. I give the LMEC an A instead of an A+ for one reason, their time period for the weddings are too short. All the vendors had to be packed up and left the facility by 11pm, the wedding just flew by because the time slot was so small. The venue was BEAUTIFUL! And all I heard all night was how beautiful it was! The pictures are going to turn out great, I know! And the workers there were VERY helpful the whole way up until the wedding. The venue was a little more expensive than all the ones that I visited prior, but the beauty was so spectacular!
http://www.lakemaryeventscenter.com/ B-Pics- Tab Mccausland- A+. WOW! Did he love his wedding present or what! She was so comfortable to be around, the pictures look FABULOUS! And she got them back to me soo quick! She was so easy to get a hold of before and always responded to my e-mails super quick! Great price too!
http://ultimateimageweddingsblog.com/ Hair/ Makeup for B Pics & Wedding- Lauren Markow- A+- Lauren was so fun to be around, such a cute personality! She made my hair and makeup look stunning for the B pics and the wedding! I couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had a trial run for my wedding hair and I didn’t like it so I e-mailed her pictures of what I did like, then my hair on the wedding turned out just as I asked J she was so accommodating too! She was able to make it to our hotel room the day of the wedding to do my hair and makeup! Not bad prices either. I will def recommend her to all my soon to be Mrs. Friends and use her for any other special occasions I have coming up! David’s Bridal- A. I really didn’t have a problem with David’s Bridal; I used the one in Altamonte. I knew what I want, tried on a bunch and bought it. A friend of mine did work there which probably made it easier.

They get a B because the owner, was a little rude and pushy, wanted us to order our tux’s with them and kept harassing me about it. The bridesmaid’s dresses were beautiful! Took 6 months to get them in though! A long time!

Heather- A+- My cake turned out just as I had ordered, it was so beautiful, it was on time and it was sooo yummy! Not much more you could ask for out of a cake vendor! The price was awesome too! She was so wonderful, she didn’t have a problem drawing up multiple cakes for me (I kept changing my mind) and she made each tier a different flavor for no extra charge.
http://www.tastytoo.com/Welcome.html Mr.Picture Booth- A++++++++. Dale & Debbie. My FAVORITE keepsake of the wedding BY FAR!!!! EVERYONE had a BLAST! Soooo special!!!! They had a wonderful photobooth set up and they e-mailed me before hand a checklist of stuff I wanted, black and white or color, props or no props, everything. They had scrapbook supplies on a table next to the photobooth and each picture printed out two, the people taking the picture were supposed to make us a scrapbook page with their extra print! The scrapbook looks awesomeeeeeee!! There were a few people, who didn’t make us a page, but mr.picture booth mailed me a cd of all the pictures and I printed them myself and made the scrapbook pages! We also got to create our own graphic at the bottom of the picture, so we used our wedding logo and our date! They also put all the pictures online on their online photo album and put a sticker on the back of each photo with the password and website information so guests could go and look at the pictures after the wedding! They were up on their website so quick, like a day later too!
http://www.mrpicturebooth.com/ DJ Bryan Taylor- Tagas- A+. I really had no problem with Bryan. Everyone thought the DJ did an awesome job, he played all the songs I requested, he treated my groom and I like kings and queens and he really kept the party going. He looked nice and professions and he’s young just like us which is why I think all our friends liked him. He had some great ideas on how to get the party going and keep it going and it worked. He was always quick to answer my e-mails or call me back and he was very easy to get in touch with. He was also very reasonable with prices on things.

Bryan knew exactly how many would look great in the room and where to put them. All my groom’s family from up north kept raving about how wonderful it was to come to a ‘Florida style wedding’.
http://www.orlandodjvideo.com/ Videography- Alisha from Tagas-A. I give her an A because I haven’t gotten my video back yet, but I did choose her because Bryan said she was the best. From the shots that she got, I’m assuming it will be a good video. She also put together the video montage for dinner, the slideshow of the bride and groom. That brought everyone to tears, it looked so awesome and professional and I even have my own copy! The only thing I didn’t like about her was that she wasn’t dressed very professional at all. She was wearing flip flops and a tank top. I understand that she has to be on the ground a lot to get a good shot and stuff, but we requested for Bryan to wear a tux, so she should have at least worn something nicer.
http://www.orlandodjvideo.com/ Brazilian- DepiWax- Claudia- A+++. Wow! My first time and so wonderful! Claudia was so gentle and sweet and I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. They use special organic wax that dries and gets kinda jelly like and then they rip the wax off instead of putting a strip over the wax and ripping the strip off. It only took about 20 minutes and man did it make a world of difference!
http://www.depiwaxorlando.com/ DOC- Tiffiny Bennett- A+++++++++++- AWESOME! I don’t have anything but wonderful words to write about Tiffiny and her cute little pregnant belly! What a trooper! She made the wedding so perfect and it ran so smoothly and if any problems happened, I didn’t even know about them! She was soo attentive to my every need and every detail I wanted. She spent sooo much time before hand having meetings with me and making sure she understood exactly what I wanted! She was so easy to make meetings with too! She is just starting in the business so her prices are very low! I tipped her more than the cost of her services I liked her so much! She made sure that all the wedding party was on time, she set up all the centerpieces and the ceremony area. She was just so perfect! Florist- Country Club Florist- B-. Okay, I had a tough time with florists. I first chose Shelly from Country Club Florist because they are RIGHT across the street from LMEC and because a friend highly recommended her! She had fabulous ideas when I met with her and we can up with beautiful flower selections. The problem was when she quoted me a price, then raised it, then e-mailed me the quote and it was raised again! I quickly contacted her and she wasn’t very accommodating on the price! I let her know that I wouldn’t be using her. THEN, I contacted and had a meeting with Jonathan’s Flowers, so glad I didn’t go with him. He had a great personality but called me every day after out meeting to see if I was going to go with him. He kept trying to bribe me and tell me he would give me % off if I booked within the next hour, I felt like he was an infomercial or something. I contacted Country Club Florist again, because I had already given them a deposit and went ahead and rebooked with them. From that day forward, they were perfect. I stopped by the shop the night before the wedding to deliver my final payment and noticed that there were only 4 bridesmaid’s bouquets and I have 5 bridesmaids, they quickly fixed the problem! (Thank God) And all the flowers looked STUNNING! I still smelled my flowers 5 days after the wedding! The bridesmaids adored their bouquets and I got so many compliments on the color choices!
http://www.countryclubflowershop.com/index.html Rehearsal Dinner- Luiginio’s at Heathrow- A+. So wonderful! They helped us pick a menu out and gave us a VERY Accurate price quote! We had the MOST wonderful service at the dinner and the food was delicious! They have a little beautiful room that is encased in windows which were beautiful; they look out onto a golf course and lake. They printed up these cute little menus and had them on all the plates before we got there that had our names and were so nice, we kept them for keepsakes J

All of our nails turned out great, but the owner was so pissed at us for being late for our appointment that it made us all awkward during the entire time. They were supposed to close at 7pm (Who closes at 7pm?) And we got there at 6:15, so she kept calling me right before asking where I was and how far away we were, so rude. Then, some of the girls wanted to get extra stuff and she kept huffing and puffing like she had some big thing to get home to or something. Sorry we made her stay 15-30 minutes late to work, but there were 7 of us, didn’t you make some money? Never going back there. Cute decorations and facility though.

I only gave her an A because she moved to Nashville L She gave me a CD of all the pics and even met up with me to give me a cute picture that she had framed for us. She gave me tips on where the best places were to get the pics developed and she even made a save the date for us on her own time, we didn’t even tell her we wanted one!

Her and her hubby really seemed like they knew what they were doing; they did posed pics and candid ones which I love. We had just enough time too. They came early to the hotel to take pics of us getting ready and they stayed all the way until the end. She was so polite too, she called me to let me know she was stuck in traffic and was going to be a few minutes behind.
http://www.kelliedayphotography.com/ Rings- International Diamond Center- A. We haven’t had a problem with them. They all look wonderful and weren’t too expensive. They’ve always cleaned my ring right away when we go in there and my groom’s ring came in so quickly after we ordered it. Be careful though, because I believe each place is individually owned, so if you buy it from one store, you can only get it fixed and stuff at that same store.
http://www.shopidc.com/ Honeymoon- 7 Day Carnival Victory Cruise. ??- Haven’t gone on it yet because I have 2 more weeks of school until break. I’m sure it will be a blast. We’ve had 2 other couple friends who went on the same cruise for their honeymoons too and gave wonderful reviews to us. We signed up for a few excursions and just can’t wait. We are flying to AirTran to Puerto Rico and it is going to St. Kitts, Barbados, Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, and Dominica.
http://www.carnival.com/ Lake Mary Mariott-B. They were awesome. The rooms were beautiful and they let us have a early check in and late check out. The bridesmaids and I stayed there the night before the wedding and we stayed there another night. We had used about 10 rooms from the room block; they were very easy to use. One person requested an adjoining room with another person and they got them mixed up and put them with another person, they got it all fixed out though. I also got the correct room that I requested. The room service was expensive but yummy!

I had knotty Alyssa come to the hotel room the night before the wedding and give the girls and I massages. She brought a coworker so it went by quicker. All the girls were so surprised and LOVED their massages. She was so professional and brought soothing music, oils and her table. She was right on time and the massages rocked! Registry- Target- B. Haven’t had that big of a problem with them, we did get a bunch of doubles on gifts though. The reason is because their registry doesn’t update until midnight, so if people bought gifts the same day, it didn’t update yet. They’ve taken back everything though with no problem.
http://www.target.com/ Bachelorette Party- A+++++. We got the HOOK-UP! I contacted Pat O’Briens at City walk and totally got the hook up. We got a private suite overlooking city walk with unlimited mardi gras beads that we could throw! We got appetizers, 3 drinks, a champagne toast and cheese and crackers. We also got a table reserved for the 16 of us in the piano bar and I got to go on stage for a bachelorette roast… all for $30 per person!!! So awesome! THEN we stayed in the Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa and had a blast! We got a 2 bedroom suite for cheap and all 10 of us fit perfectly! There was even a Jacuzzi in our room! Check out wasn’t until 1pm so we got to sleep our hangovers away!
