Ceremony with Unity Candle Order Help

Hi, We are doing a unity candle in our ceremony and we are struggling with the order of the ceremony with that in place. When the mother's light and then when the JP speaks about it and then we light. Does anyone have a ceremony order or template they have used with a unity candle you are willing to share? We just need a little insight and can not find much on google. Thanks so much!

    Hi~ Our mothers lit the candles before they sat down and our Deacon didn't speak about it.  We lit the candle after the blessing of the rings and after the Gospel reading.  We had a Catholic ceremony (no Mass).

    At my cousin's wedding they had the moms escorted to the candles instead of their seats and they lit them before they sat down. The minister said something about lighting the unity candle and they did that after the exchanging of the rings.
