So last night we were eating dinner @ my mom's outside on the patio. My mom has a 15 yr old cat who was hanging out with us outside. In the middle of dinner, some random dog appears in the backyard and goes straight for the cat. Naturally the cat freaks and bolts into the forrest. Fast forward to today, the cat is still not home. My mom just called me at work in complete tears because she can't find the cat. It doesn't help any that we have a rather large highway fairly close to our house. Crap crap crap. Do I cut out of work and go help her look for the cat? Do I stay at work and go home on my lunch break? crap. I have a feeling she is up in a tree somewhere because she has a tendancy to do that when she's freaked..the only problem is that once she's up she can't come down because she's old, and we have no idea where to look for her.I could use some vibes that the cat is okay and that we can find her quickly.
