Cakes

Hi, I'm checking in for some more budget cake recs! I flipped back a few pages and found Special Cakes by Sandy, Ivy's in Canton, and Piros.Does anyone have anything else to add? We are hoping to keep it under $400 to feed 170 people, but I anticipate a extra holiday travel fee based on another bakery I already contacted- our wedding is New Years Day.TIA!

We used Montilio's for our wedding, and I think their prices start at $3.25 per person. http://www.montilios.com Review and pics of our actual cake in bio

Not sure what her prices are really like, but she did a WONDERFUL job 'fixing' our cake. Originally I was gonna make it myself (it was just for show, we weren't/didn't serve it) but then decided not to, so my mom went to royal pastry in Lexington .... it was a complete disaster and I have no idea how they would let something like that out of their shop. I provided a bunch of ribbon for them to use .... so they clearly cut the ribbon too short to wrap around the bottom tier .... and then tried to connect it with another piece of shorter ribbon!!! And the swiss dots were HORRID!So, we took it to Karen at Babycakes, and when she saw it, she was like 'oh my' She totally fixed up the cake, refrosted and re-decorated the whole thing .. pretty much for free! She did an AMAZING job fixing the cake. Long story short, Babycakes did a great job and I'd totally reccomend them!!! It turned out just as I envisioned it in the first place!! babycakesandconfections.com

I just had my tasting at iceing on the cake in newton. They were wonderful and the prices are really good. You also have the option of a cupcake tower which saves alot of money.
