Great venue suggestion!

So I got engaged a month ago and my fiance and I figured we would do a july 2010 wedding. So we began looking around seattle, the eastside and all that and prices were ridiculous. So we went to Tulalip Casino and Resort. Oh my god! It is so gorgeous you hardly need any decorations. We're just going with table decs, and the prices are great considering we're doing our ceremony, reception, drinking, food, bridal suite, a comp suite for me and the FI at the end of the night AND a HUGE discount on rooms for guests. It's amazing! Another great point about them was me and the FI were having second thoughts about party favors. Come to find out that if you don't want the dessert with your dinner and just have your guests eat your wedding cake, they'll make little chinese take out boxes filled with cookies and peitefours for you guests to take when they leave, and it's all in the budget! I am blown away by this place, they are on top of everything, have many suggestions, and are very helpful. Check them out if you guys don't mind driving north! And plus there's that great shopping outlet next door! Thanks for listening!

We're getting married in Snohomish but I'm seriously considering the Tulalip hotel for the wedding night, anyone have a link to the bridal suite pick?

Congrats!  I love the feeling of getting big stuff like that decided.I've not been to that casino, but based on my visits to other casinos, I'd wonder what their policy is regarding smoking.  I've often noticed when entering a casino that because they allow smoking inside they smell strongly like smoke.  If you don't mind that, or if they don't allow it in the wedding venues, then no worries, but it might be something you'd want to think about.Carrie

Amylbell - The bridal suite mention is this one at the top: http://www.tulalipresort.com/weddings.aspx It a room created specifically for the bride to get ready which is right next to the doors to the stairs in the pool area. Very well planed, but We have reserved an Ocra Suite (comp'd) for our wedding night. http://www.tulalipresort.com/rooms/suites/orca_suite.aspx

Our whole deal, which prices will definitely vary depending on what we want, he estimated at 11,000. But we are using 3 of the reception rooms for 150 people as well and we chose a buffet at 45 a head. There are SOOO many options it's amazing. The room rates we got for our guests are 140 for the king room 160 for the double queen and 250 for the orca suite which yeah, my fi and I get for the night. And the bridal suite where me and my girls is awesome!! Really really beautiful.
