Photo Guest Book Pen

For anyone that is doing or has done a photo guest book, what type of pen will people be signing with? I am worried about smudging since the paper is slightly glossy.I bough the new sharpie pens, but those seem to smudge until they are dry, which takes a few seconds.Any suggestions?

I have a photo guest book and bought the new Sharpie pens too. I am thinking about putting a little sign in a nice frame that say to be careful, pen takes a moment to dry.

I used the fine point Sharpies and none of it smudged.

Ditto on the fine point sharpies. Everytime I have signed a guest book they looked perfect and I never saw any signs of smudge!

I just regular ball point med pens. We had a photo guest book that I made from Shutterfly.

I think I might buy a sharpie fine point today to test out. I think there is a difference between the ink in the sharpie pens versus the fine point.Vikki- Did the regular pen leave any indent marks on the other pages from people pressing down?

The regular pens didn't leave anyother marks in the book and they didn't smudge.
