Costco Wedding Cake

Hi girlies! Do any of you know if Costco has good wedding cakes? I am spending more of the budget on the catering and thought I could cut some costs by using Costco for our cake...thoughts?

Re: Costco Wedding Cake

  • I used Coscto for our cake. It was delicious. We didn't do a cake cutting, we just had it served to people with a chocolate covered strawberry on the plate. I'm pretty sure they just do sheet cakes. We only paid about $50 for 130 people!
  • I think it would be fine to use one of their sheetcakes, cut in the back room, and serve it to your guests. Not sure if their prices vary from region to region, but around here a sheet cake is $17 and serves 48 people. You can get a flavored mousse filling and have it decorated all in white..........I LOVE their frosting, LOL. I am a frosting freak.

If you want the traditional cake cutting, you could get a small one layer white cake from a bakery and use that for "picture posing" and have the guests served the other cake.
