Short hair and a Veil?

Hiya! I was wondering if anyone else out there has short hair but wore a veil for their wedding! I've been browsing the internet trying to find some cute ways to do this but am coming up short (no pun, I swear). My hairs about nape of the neck length. I'm a little weary of trying to grow mine out so if any other short haired brides have cute solutions or even pictures I'd be really grateful!

My friend got married on Saturday, and this is what she had. She wore the veil all day too, I couldn't believe it!

She's kind of making a funny face, but it looks beautiful.

the pp pic looks beautiful. i love the birdcage veils too, and i think they look best with short hair (or maybe an updo.) or with short hair, one side swept back with a pretty fascinator- that can be gorgeous.

Not that this helps much, but I'm having the SAME problem! I've played around with pin curls, finger waves (1920's esq) and most recently teasing the crown of the hair up. I have a cathedral length veil which I think makes it a little harder. Here's my most recent pics. Also, I'd love some feedback on what you think. My dress is at the tailors, so I just have a tanktop on with my jewelry and such. P.S. I got a headband to add a little pizzazz to the look. ef- your hair looks very cute, and it looks great with the veil and great with the headband thang, but i think it might be too much with both. if it were me, i might do the veil for the ceremony and then switch to the headband for the reception?

Yeah, I definitely don't love the feather headband and veil together. I'd wear them separately.
